Jonathan, I think I hear in you what was me for many years. Since I was so sure that the Bible was inspired by God (this is what my parents trained me to believe), I had no interest in exploring things like evolution. I have come to believe that that is far more likely than an all powerful god coming out of nothing who did not even have a beginning. Think about that.
