The Hyksos people were very limited in number and were out of Egypt about 200 years before the earliest date anyone gives to the Exodus. Can not be the same event. Remember, the Bible talks about 2.5 million people escaping at the same time. There would be all kinds of historical evidence if anything like it had occurred.
